The Careers in the Ontario Autism Sector Virtual Job Fair is a two-day event that will facilitate connections between students from OT, OTA, SLP, CDA, Mental Health, BT and RBA programs and employers throughout Ontario actively seeking to fill positions within these specialized disciplines.

  • What fields of study are relevant to this Job Fair?

    Organizations participating in the CAS Virtual Job Fair are recruiting Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Communicative Disorder Assistants, Behavioural Therapists, Registered Behaviour Analysts and/or Mental Health professionals.

  • What is the schedule of the event?

    There will be two half-day timeslots dedicated to the four main specialties. 


    February 19, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: For Students enrolled in OT/OTA and SLP/CDA programs


    February 20, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: For Students enrolled in ABA and Mental Health programs


  • What can I expect on the day of the event?

    Each half-day session will begin with opening remarks and participating employers will be invited to introduce themselves and provide a 1-minute introduction. Employers will then move to their pre-assigned breakout rooms, and shortly thereafter students will move to their pre-selected connections with employers. Each connection point will last 10 to 15 minutes, after which students will be asked to move to their next scheduled room. 


  • How do I access the event?

    The Virtual Job Fair will take place entirely over Zoom. Login instructions will be provided to registrants closer to the event. 

  • Feeling Anxious?

    We understand that meeting with potential employers can create some anxiety. Remember, this job fair is for you! It’s an opportunity to ask questions, learn about working in the field and make connections with hiring employers that could lead to job opportunities upon graduation.
